What is powder brows ?

Powder brows is applied by using the more traditional method, the digital machine method. This technique leaves a behind a soft powdery finish within a crisp design. The density of the pigment that is implanted starts soft and light at the beginning of the brow and gradually gets darker and heavier towards the tail.

Usually, clients who choose shading want a softer, gentler finish. This gives your brows a natural grow but will still look stunningly natural. This is great for those who like filling in their eyebrows with a lighter shade.

This technique tends to last longer and is overall better for the integrity of the skin.

This semi-permanent procedure can take anywhere from 1,3 to 2 hours. Majority of clients require 2 sessions to have their desired brows. Touch up appointments can be made 4-6 weeks after your first initial visit.

Combo brows :

Combo brows is a combination of the two treatments above. With this technique, the artist is able to achieve denser and more defined brows.

Combination brows are characterized by feathered hair strokes from the beginning to the middle, and then transitions to a powdered finish toward the tails. This is what creates the added definition that’s not so prominent in microbladed brows.

This procedure can take anywhere between 2-2,3 hours.

Majority of clients require 2 sessions to have their desired brows. Touch up appointments can be made 4-6 weeks after your first initial visit.

Pre-appointment instructions:

  • 30 Days: Do not get Botox or fillers.

  • 14 Days: No sun tanning.

  • 7 Days: Do not tweeze, wax, or dye brows before the procedure. Do not use harsh products, retinoids, and acids around eyebrow.

  • 48 Hours: Do not take Aspirin.

  • 24-hours: Do not drink alcohol and caffeine.

Healing process:

  • 1-3 days Darkest pigment, formate scabs.

  • 3-7 Brows start to peel, itchy. Do not rub, scratch, wet them. Scabs need to fall naturally.

  • 7-14 days Pigment may lighten.

  • 15-30 days The intensity of the color increases slightly, color will settle.

  • 30-60 days Healing is complete. Time for a touch up procedure.

Contradictions for pmu:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Allergies to topical anaesthetics.

  • Severe acne or Accutane treatment.

  • Botox within the last 2 weeks Keloid scarring.

  • Facial psoriasis or eczema.

  • Autoimmune disease.

  • HIV and AIDS.

Please understand that appointment times are limited. If you must cancel your appointment, we respectfully 12 hour notice. Missed appointments or appointments cancelled without a 12 hour notice will incur a fee of R600.00
