What is Microblading?

Microblading is a technique that creates the appearance of fuller, perfectly shaped and symnutrical eyebrows by applying pigments into the skin. A hand-held tool device is used with specially designed super fine needles. It creates the individual micro hair strokes that resemble your very own natural eyebrow hairs. The result is a natural looking brows for 8-12 months.

Microblading can help make assymetric brows, enhance or thicken the shape of natural brows if they scarce, or it can create brows when there is very little or no natural brows

If you a candidate of microblading

  • If you filling those spots where your eyebrows are

  • Re-applying brow pencil several times through the day

  • Busy moms, business women with no time for daily make up

  • Through out your work day, during yoga class, after a fun girls night out, your brows will remain perfect

Pre-Appointment Instructions:

  • Avoid Botox or fillers at least 2 weeks prior

  • Avoid blood thinning medication for at least 72 hours prior to appointment (incl Vitamin E, Asprin, Ibruphen)

  • Do not Drink alcohol 24 hours before and limit caffeine, It may make you more prone to sensitivity and cause more bleeding

  • If you have been on Accutane in the past, you must wait at least 1 year before considering procedure.

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning bed for 5 days before and 5 days after procedure

  • Avoid waxing and plucking eyebrows 2-3 days prior

  • Please shower ahead of time of procedure, because you will need to avoid getting them wet after appointment.


Microblading post care is very important to the healing process and lasting effect of your new eyebrows. Please read the following aftercare instructions carefully

  • On the day of treatment gently wipe the area with a cotton pad, moistened with provided solution every hour! Till the end of the day. (To clean access of lymp and pigment to avoid thick crust and infections)

  • Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. (During shower keep your face away from shower head)

  • On 3-4th day (When brows will start scabbing) gently apply ointment with a cotton swab. This can be done 1-2 a day. Please continue to apply ointment while brows are flaking.

  • Itching and flaking may appear during the first few days’ post procedure.

  • Avoid picking or scratching as it can pull of scabs prematurely and cause patchy results.

  • Avoid sweating for 14 days

  • Avoid hot sauna bath, swimming pools and sun bathing for 14 days.

  • Avoid any laser or chemical peelings for 14 days

  • Avoid creams containing Retiu-A or Glycolic acid on the area

Healing process

The entire healing process will take 4-6 weeks, your eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle.

  • The pigment will appear very bright and unnatural looking immediately after the procedure.

  • The color of the pigment will appear much darker the next day.

  • Note that because of natural skin regeneration, after peeling, brows might appear lighter than the original. It might give you the impression that the color is fading too quickly. Its absolutely normal.

  • However the final color of your eyebrows will appear approximately 30 days after procedure, that’s when most clients require a touch up session.

  • Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen spf 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away more quickly.

Touch up appointment

A touch up appointment is necessary for you to receive the full benefits of the procedure. It should be scheduled 4-6 weeks after your initial visit. Important do not skip this step as touch up appointment is crucial to achieve optimal results.

Contradictions for pmu:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Allergies to topical anaesthetics.

  • Severe acne or Accutane treatment.

  • Untreated herpes or cold sores.

  • Lip fillers within the last 2 weeks.

  • Keloid scarring.

  • Facial psoriasis or eczema.

  • Autoimmune disease.

  • HIV and AIDS.

Cancellation Policy:

Please understand that appointment times are limited. If you must cancel your appointment, we respectfully 12 hour notice. Missed appointments or appointments cancelled without a 12 hour notice will incur a fee of R600.00
